Players collect sets of cards composed of an Event, Venue, and Feeling, declaring 'Storytime' to share how an event may lead to a particular emotion. The goal is to be the first to play all of their cards or to collect the most sets, with opportunities for reflection and discussion about feelings after the game.
Game Rules - Level 1
For 2-5 Players; Age 6+
Card Composition
The game includes 36 cards, with 9 cards in each of the 4 colors: purple, red, blue, and green. Each color includes 3 Event cards, 3 Venue cards, and 3 Feeling cards. The 8 cards labeled "Lv. 2" and the 4 rainbow cards are not used.
Glossary: A Set
A set of three cards in the same color in sequence, including one #1 Event card, one #2 Venue card and one #3 Feeling card.
Glossary: “Storytime”
This is the goal of the game, allowing a player to discard some cards. Say “Storytime” loudly when successfully collect a Set. Play the Set face-up on the table Read the story on the Set in sequence (#1 Event, #2 Venue, #3 Feeling) The previous player makes a facial expression like the one on the #3 Feeling card laid down.

Instructions
Same as Level 1 except that the player can use one pine card to substitute either number 1 or 3 in the played set with the same color, and imagine the event or feeling in the story.

Suggested Debriefing
After the game is done, many Sets with different pairings of events and feelings will be laid out on the table. An adult can take this opportunity to debrief with the kids and reflect on how a social event leads to a feeling.
There are four rainbow cards with suggested debriefing questions that can be placed in the middle of the table. The adult can point to a chosen set and then select one of the rainbow question cards to foster discussion with the kids.
